I work for an interesting company…

I just put in my two week’s notice at HWS, so I won’t be working for my current employer much longer, but I wanted to post an email that was sent to the entire company. It gives you an idea of the caliber of some (not all) of the people that work here:

I want to show my appreciation towards all the male gender in Heritage. everyone has done very well at not urinating on the seat. this is the first company i have worked at that keeps the potty clean all day…good job, Thanks! : ) (The email was sent by Cori Powell.)

The sad thing is, this isn’t a joke. This was really sent to the entire company of about 150 employees. I, of course, had to respond. Here was my response:

I’m glad you feel that way, but I don’t think it is necessary to share with the entire company. It’s gross!

Actually, I have to say, I have enjoyed being an editor/writer for the company. It’s been a great place to work, and I’ve learned quite a bit…especially about the bathroom habits of the male employees. I’m sad to leave, but at least I’ll have some funny memories!
