Rich, I would be more than happy to try to make you a ducky cake. I’ll just need to find a good mould. Mom, I bought a mould from Williams Sonoma, and it had a cake recipe I had to follow. It was a bit denser than other cakes (so it would stay together, I suppose), and there were several steps I had to take to put it together. It wasn’t too hard, just time consuming. I also bought a special frosting gun that I used to decorate the cake. It was a lot of fun, and the cake was one of the best I’ve ever tried. (Good recipe from Williams Sonoma.) I’ll make one for you all next time you come out here.

Hey Jen- I had no idea you made this cake… I was just checking out your blogs because I feel like I have been so out of touch with you… wanted to see what is going on.
It is SO CUTE! Isn’t it fun to decorate cakes? I have only attempted them for my kids birthdays but I love seeing how they turn out.
I don’t have your e-mail address so I hope you read this frequently!

ps Emma and Jeffrey wore the clothes you gave them two days ago… they were so cute! The pants actually fit Emma… (well, almost. I did roll the waist but I just couldn’t wait to see how cute it all looked on her).
