by JennyThis is a bunny cake that I made for my husband for his birthday. He wasn’t exactly a bunny lover when I met him but I made it clear that was a prerequisite before marriage.
By the way, the master of 360 images, Devin of Printer Hacks, put this together and took the pictures. Jordan created the flash template for it.
The Bunny Cake
I am surprised how many people have been searching for the term “Bunny Cake” on google. I guess the obsession is a little less scarce than I originally thought.
The raisins were the best part!
Where are the little raisins? Did you eat that part of the decoration?
Hey Jen- I had no idea you made this cake… I was just checking out your blogs because I feel like I have been so out of touch with you… wanted to see what is going on.
It is SO CUTE! Isn’t it fun to decorate cakes? I have only attempted them for my kids birthdays but I love seeing how they turn out.
I don’t have your e-mail address so I hope you read this frequently!
We really should get together for lunch one of these days and catch up… I would love to know what is going on in your life!
Do you usually do lunch with Preston, what is your schedule like?
You can e-mail me at bibanez@utah.gov or brooke.ibanez@gmail.com.
Love ya!

ps Emma and Jeffrey wore the clothes you gave them two days ago… they were so cute! The pants actually fit Emma… (well, almost. I did roll the waist but I just couldn’t wait to see how cute it all looked on her).
Thanks again for being so thoughtful.
Jenny, that is one awsome cake!!! You should try making a horse one next time!!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxox smashley
Rich, I would be more than happy to try to make you a ducky cake. I’ll just need to find a good mould.
Mom, I bought a mould from Williams Sonoma, and it had a cake recipe I had to follow. It was a bit denser than other cakes (so it would stay together, I suppose), and there were several steps I had to take to put it together. It wasn’t too hard, just time consuming. I also bought a special frosting gun that I used to decorate the cake. It was a lot of fun, and the cake was one of the best I’ve ever tried. (Good recipe from Williams Sonoma.) I’ll make one for you all next time you come out here.
OoOoO nice one! now come may ur gonna have to make me a ducky cake! -_-
Jenny,
That bunny cake is amazing! How did you do it? I loved the 3-d pictures so I could view the entire thing. You are one talented girl. I hope your hubby enjoyed his cake!
Love from your Mommy
